Sending Sunshine is a small not-for-profit organization run in Mississauga. This organization was started to reduce the negative effects of social isolation and loneliness among Senior Citizens by providing them with handwritten cards. Each card sent to Sending Sunshines is read by a member to ensure appropriate content and is then passed on to a care facility which is enjoyed by a resident.
